Business travel is simultaneously exciting and difficult. Many professionals (such as myself) prefer not to miss too much work, so they often take a night flight following a long day, only to rush directly into meetings.

The toxic air, multitude of germs floating around in the cabins and the lack of shut eye that can only result in shadows under your eyes, wrinkles on your cheeks and a mouth full of bad breath – how can anyone possibly be expected to look great for meetings immediately?

Before you embark on your next business trip, consider these ways to look your best and to bounce back quickly after a difficult flight.

Keeping in mind that your carryon isn’t likely to get weighed, you should have no problem filling canada goose at yordale sale store with your essentials. Make sure you have the following items:

A mask for your eyes, ear plugs(that work) and a wooly hat for your head. Bring a large tub of moisturizing cream. Once the plane takes off, slather a generous coating on your face. This will prevent your skin from drying out from the lack of air in the cabin.

You will also need a pack of wet wipes, a tube of toothpaste, a toothbrush and a pack of stem-u-dents. Mouth spray can also help you feel fresh at the end of the trip.

Your change of clothes-presumably the suit and blouse you plan to wear to the all-important meeting— should be folded carefully and wrapped in plastic so canada goose at yordale sale store won’t crease. Your outfit for the first day of the trip should remain in your carry-on, in case your suitcase gets lost. Remember to include an unwrapped pair of stockings (when in season), at least two or three pairs of clean underwear and your polished heels.

As far as makeup goes, what you need, but don’t overdo it. Make sure you have lipstick, mascara and a light eye shadow that will make your eyes look brighter even when they’re half closed.

In addition to packing the right clothes and makeup, it’s important that you eat and drink properly before and during the trip. Taking food with you will ensure that you’re properly satiated and that you can sleep through the airline’s meal service without worrying that you’ll be hungry later. Having snacks available will also give you the energy you need to power through the day ahead.

Make sure to drink plenty of water during the flight, to keep your body and skin hydrated, so that you look and feel your best.

When you awake from your short beauty sleep, you will probably be served breakfast. You should definitely eat something as you don’t want to arrive at the meeting ravenous or you will eat everything in sight. Airline coffee is never the best but you can request a large cup straight from the kitchen and that should have enough caffeine to keep you going for most of the day.

With an hour left until landing, canada goose at yordale sale store is time to start your preparations.

Take your carry-on with you into the ‘lavatory.’ Remove the clothes you were wearing till now, wash yourself down with a wet wipe. Wash your face thoroughly with warm water and pat dry with a paper towel. You can wet your hair slightly and run your hands through it to bring out its natural cut. Apply your make up carefully (hopefully there will be no turbulence while you draw your eyeliner) and finish organizing your hair. An extra bit of blush will make you look like a million bucks.

Roll or spray on the antiperspirant and get dressed. Save the heels for the last minute. A few generous spritzes of perfume and you are all set.

Once your clothing is changed, don’t eat or drink ANYTHING until you get to off the plane, lest you end up spilling on your work duds. Apply your lipstick at the last minute. Keep small spray cologne handy so you can give yourself a last minute squirt if necessary.

If you follow these suggestions, you may still feel tired during your trip, but at least you’ll look great!
