If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a wedding photograph would probably have enough words to fill an entire library. For me, photographs of the joyous occasion are timeless and beautiful; captured to be retold, remembered and relived.

A wedding is also one of the most stressful events to photograph. During a pre-wedding shoot in Siena, Italy, I used a wide angle lens to

capture my couple as they sat across another couple outside this old building.

This couple lived in London for a couple of years during their studies so, we went there

to capture them going about their everyday lives. This shot was taken from another train carriage.

Even though I couldn’t direct the couple, I managed to catch this candid moment with

un-intended reflections on the windows. A fast lens helped to blur out the background slightly.

This was shot early in the morning. I love how soft the whole image is.

Having the silhouette of the Opera House in the background, you can easily identify that this was shot in Sydney.

Here, I used manual exposure to attain a slight glow on the hairline.

It was the bride’s “last dance” with her father before the first dance with her groom.

The Ritz Carlton ballroom was really crowded that night so, to make them look like they

were the only ones there, I got down to the ground to take this shot against the spotlights.

Although you can’t see the whole building, you can still identify it by the façade of the roof.

This was taken at 5:45am in Bali as the couple wanted a sunrise shot.

I had to shoot this from a distance to capture the whole view.

Timing is important as once the sun starts to rise, the light will be different.
